Who are our services for?
Independent designers as well as well established luxury brands worldwide, you don’t necessarily have to be based here, we’re your eyes and hands in Ubrique.
Minimum Order Quantities
Our MOQ is 30 units per style and colour for handbags and 50 units per style and colour for small leather goods. However, if you have different requirements, we would be happy to hear them. Be aware that the smaller the collection is, the more it will cost per unit to produce the goods.
What are the steps and how long does it take to bring a design to life?
It really depends on the technical complexity of each design, but generally speaking it can take up to 3-6 months from the moment we have received the initial sketches until a leather prototype is done.
The normal steps would be:
1. Design – it can take from 3-6 months onwards.
2. Tech pack – 3 days.
3. Pattern making – 10 working days from the approval of the design.
4. Prototyping in salpa to first review volume and measurements – 3 weeks.
5. Leather prototype – 4 weeks.
6. Normalisation – a period to test the product and review all materials and technical features of the design to make sure everything is ok ready to launch the production – 4 weeks.
7. Ordering materials and reception – 4 weeks.
8. Production – 8-9 weeks depending on quantities and considering all materials are available to start production.
9. Quality control – it depends on quantities to inspect.
I do not live in Spain, can I still manufacture with you?
Of course you can! In fact, none of our clients are based in Spain and we assist them in producing their leather goods collections. We will deal with everything here in Ubrique and will keep you informed at all times about the process.
